Product Overview

The LEACH International KDA-E4E is a high-reliability, non-latching, balanced-force electromagnetic power relay intended for specialized aerospace and electrical power-switching applications.

Contact Arrangement and Operation

The KDA-E4E incorporates three independent normally open power-switching poles. When the properly rated AC operating voltage is applied to the relay coil, the main contacts close to connect their corresponding electrical circuits.

A separate changeover auxiliary contact provides additional switching capability for control, indication, or interlocking functions.

The relay features a non-latching design, returning to its normal contact position when the operating coil is de-energized.

The manufacturer’s terminal diagram is printed directly on the housing to assist with identification and wiring verification.
